Unfortunately there will be no club day this Saturday due to an event Tyler and I have to attend all day Saturday. Feel free to sign up for club day Sunday though. There are 12 spots available!

Hopefully the weather will hold up this weekend and we can get some good riding in. As of right now I dont have much open for Saturday but Sunday is open so start getting your e-mails in so we can get everyone signed up! I will be changing the e-mail here soon to a club e-mail and i will let everyone know about that! I’m putting my phone number on the website next to my picture in the officers section in case anyone needs to call me to see if the club day is still on due to weather or just wants to chat! HAHA HIT ME UP!!!
Labor Day Wakeboarding!

Monday will be the only club day this Labor Day Weekend. I didn’t have enough people e-mail me back in time to plan one for Sunday. Communication will be better and I will post club days a lot earlier from now on. I have been super busy trying to get everyone signed up and good to go so they can start boarding! So far I have 6 people signed up to ride on Monday. Remember there are 4 spots available per time slots. Here are the time slots available and the people who have signed up……
For those who signed up, we will be meeting at Redneck beach the directions are under getting to the cape. Please note that it is at least a 20 minute drive.

Great Turn Out

Hey guys this is your VP Tyler Littlefield, I just wanted to say thanks to everyone that came out to the meeting tonight we had a lot more people this year than last. Unfourtantley I will not be here this weekend for the first club day so Drew will be running it. For those of you that want to ride this weekend you MUST fulfill all the requirements before saturday. Thanks to those who turned everything in tonight but for those who still need to turn stuff in I will be on campus from about 11am to 8pm on wednesday the 2nd so if you want to meet up with me then just shoot me an email (trl8708@uncw.edu). Once again those requirements are 1) signed waiver 2)$40 club dues 3)scanned copy of your student id and insurance card 4)The swim test, all you have to do for the swim test is go to the pool and tell the life gaurd. The pool is open Monday-Friday 11am-2pm, Mon-Thur 8:30pm-10pm, Sat & Sun 2pm-5pm. We will be posting more about the club day very soon.

Yo gang this is Drew Heath, your new president of the UNCW Wakeboard Club. Just wanted to give thanks to everyone who voted for me because I plan on doing a lot of things this year to expand our club and make it better. This year we have a new collegiate series(check out empirewake.com)! WHOOP WHOOP! Luckily enough the first stop is here in Wilmington to compete for a spot at nationals! That means we need to take home the gold in our own town and show the other schools that we our gunning for first place at nationals. We are gonna win it this year! With your help in raising money we can do big things! Stop by the involvment fair on August 26th in front of the Fischer Center between 10 am and 2 pm to check out the tent and our boat. Hope to see you there!
